Mr. Soccer Camps are run by Anders Kelto, a former standout at Traverse City High School, captain of the U.S. U-17 National Team, and Michigan's "Mr. Soccer" in 1995. They were founded on the belief that soccer is best taught by current players who have played the game at a high level, and who can demonstrate soccer skills first hand. In addition to teaching the game from the player's perspective, Mr. Soccer Camps also emphasize
having fun and the staff makes sure that every camper has an
incredibly rewarding camp experience. The Traverse City Camp is open to all players
ages 13 and under and covers basic soccer skills and general tactics. The Advanced Camp is for select level players throughout Northern Michigan, between the ages of 11 and 13. The camp teaches advanced footwork and skills, advanced tactics, and small-sided and full-sided play. For more information or to register, click on the above links. Register early, as both camps are expected to fill up quickly!
