Mr. Soccer Camps were founded by Anders Kelto and Corey Woolfolk, two friends who grew up playing soccer together in Michigan. They won the title of "Mr. Soccer" (the top high school player in the state) in 1995 and 1996, respectively. In 1997, they decided to start a camp together.

The first camp, held in Traverse City, had just five players. In the following years, the camp grew rapidly, regularly attracting more than a hundred players. Eventually, Mr. Soccer Camps grew to seven cities around Michigan and more than 2,500 players have attended our camps over the years.

Today, Mr. Soccer Camps has returned to its roots and operates just one camp in Traverse City each summer.
